I got these votives for free from a local gardening club getting rid of extra decorations. I immediately knew what I wanted to do with them so I scooped them up, thanked the kind little ladies, and did my best impression of a speed walk towards my car.
Im very picky when it comes to choosing my furniture, especially when it’s so darn expensive. About a year ago, I sold off the buffet we were using as our TV unit, along with the dining set that went with it. Since then, I’ve been on the hunt for something to fill it’s shoes.
For years now, I have been searching for a coffee table. The only problem is, I didn’t know exactly what I wanted. I thought I wanted one of those pottery barn-esque pedestal coffee tables, but recently I have discovered my style is very scandinavian boho modern. Quite the winning combo. (more…)
I’ve been drooling over these white fireplaces for over a year now, and now that we are finally in our house, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the one in our dining room.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s a beautiful handbuilt river rock fireplace, but it is huge and dark and imposing, and this house is small enough without creating the illusion of less space. (more…)
I got this cabinet on craigslist back in 2012. Its been a sewing cabinet, a computer cabinet, and now its just a craft storage area.
